What is the first thing you ever made? A rock with a face painted on it with some of my golden retriever’s fur glued onto it for hair.  I used to sell my creations on the street and when I told my customer where I got the shock of red hair, he was a bit shocked to say the least!

What importance do the materials that you use have to your art? The paper I use for my miniatures can be from the wrapping paper on a gift from a friend or from a special card. It is hard to give up some of my earrings because the source is sometimes truly one-of-a-kind!

What is your favorite movie about the creative process? Rivers and Tides. It is truly inspiring to see an artist create beautiful art with nothing but objects from nature.
