Why did you choose the medium you work with? I like acrylic because it dries so fast and the odor is minimal. I have always created but I started to create on canvas for permanence. I also tend to get lost in detail, going over something again and again and again, ad neauseum, and with acrylic I can obscure my obsessiveness or scrape and sand away layers to reveal.

Where are you from? I was born in the West Seattle Hospital. It is now a mental health facility and for some reason that just cracks me up. My parents were much older when I was born, mom was 44 and dad was 51. They had incredibly interesting lives before I came along! When my dad was 10, he and his family drove up the west coast from California to Washington in a horse drawn wagon!
