What appeals to you most about making what you make? I love to see an image or idea in my head transform into something tangible. I guess I create artwork because its something I feel compelled to do for some reason. Its difficult but I love to do it, It makes me feel fulfilled. I cant really imagine doing anything else.

What problems do you encounter in your art practice; how do you solve them? The whole process of painting for me is problem solving, how do you make something flat look three dimensional and alive? Its something I am always working on with practice and observation.

What is the first thing you ever made? The very first thing I remember was a drawing I made of my whole family naked when I was little.
