Why did you choose the medium you work with? I had a typewriter, some paint, and some paper when I started. I didn’t have money for new supplies, and so I used what I had. I quickly switched from watercolor to acrylic, because watercolor is harder to control and takes forever to dry. It took me a while to find the right paper, and to figure out how to dry the paper, and it took me a few typewriter to find my favorite: a Smith-Carona named Bob. I love my typewriter. He and I have been through a lot together. He’s pretty much my favorite boyfriend.

Do you have a pet? I have two cats, Tigger and Chester, they’re gay. They make-out a lot. And every once in a while, when Chester feels feelings, he rapes Tigger. Tigger does have a girlfriend on the side, who lives in our apartment building, because he’s more prison gay than gay-gay. But Chester has only ever loved Tigger.
