How else do you find inspiration? All of my cards and other artwork are directly inspired by the natural world. There are tons of amazing, extremely fascinating living creatures on this planet. I would be doing a grave injustice to their awesomeness by not showcasing them in my artwork. That being said, there’s an endless supply of it. Every time I think I’ve seen everything, there’s an article about finding fifty new species of microscopic jellyfish at the bottom of the ocean.

Do you have a pet? I have a pet western box turtle named Fuji (after the mountain. He’s little so I wanted to give him some self esteem.) and I just recently found out after taking him to the vet that he isn’t 5 or 6 years old like the pet store said, but 25 at LEAST. This whole time I’ve been talking baby-talk to the guy and he’s a MAN. I don’t think he’s forgiven me yet.
