Paper Noises by Eroyn Franklin
Bridge panoramic button set $3
Why do you make things? I like the physical process of making and working out an idea, the excitement of the initial concept and the satisfaction of getting it to all to come together.
What artists inspire you? My sister: Tory Franklin, Martine Workman, Anders Nilsen, Lotte Reiniger to name a few.
Why did you choose the medium you work with? I work in a lot of mediums because I can’t choose. I focus on comics because I like storytelling, drawing, and audience accessibility.
What importance do the materials that you use have to your art? The materials are determined by the message I want to convey. Sometimes it’s necessary to employ the stark emotional landscape of silhouette. Other times I use puff paint on tees to elicit the complicated nuance of poop humor.
Do you have a pet? Please explain. My cat, Pillow, is a large cross-eyed, knock-kneed, clumsy creature. She is also soft, cute and not lacking in character.
