Paper Diamonds Clothing was created in late 2008. Turning a new leaf, Paper Diamonds Clothing, an art-based company started by Tacoma artist known as CASH, is creating fresh designs on canvas as well as t-shirts.

How do you prepare for creating something? I like to give myself a lot of time to think, first. I start by painting the background on several canvasses at once, and then I like to listen to music and flip through magazines while watching cartoons on t.v. That’s how I get inspiration to start forming the foreground images of my paintings, even though my final ideas may not even resemble the things from which I originally found inspiration.

What is your favorite music to listen to while you work? I find that I focus best when listening to Rap and Death metal.
