Why did you choose the medium you work with? What importance do the materials that you use have tort? I am a costume designer by trade so designing and creating fabric handbags is a natural segue.  I also helps that I am a huge lover of fabric and that I like to take bright vivid colors, tasty prints, unusual textures and mix them together to see what happens!

What problems do you encounter in your art practice; how do you solve them? As an artist I find that it can be hard to be a business person and a creative person.  Like many other artists I find the business end of things hard and confusing at times.  However, I have several informative Crafter’s Blogs that I read and I find Etsy forums  really helpful when business questions arise.  Also when I get bored with what I’m creating I change something so my art feels fresh and new again!
