What appeals to you most about making what you make? I love working with my hands – I come from a family who is very crafty and hands on.  I think the quality of handmade goods is beyond comparison because they carry both craftsmanship and love. I design my products to be functional and feel really great to use. I like to create experiences that make people feel good.

Why did you choose the medium you work with? When I started my business, the economy was in its biggest slump, so knew I needed to keep necessity in mind. I decided to make things that are useful, but that bring simple beauty and joy to everyday life. Often times, it’s the little things and experiences that matter most.
