I have been working in the arts and entertainment fields for two decades, with extensive expertise in event production and promotion. After earning my MFA, I began to concentrate more exclusively in the visual arts, working as an educator, artist and curator. I’ve lived in Seattle for close to a decade, working in and studying the city’s nightlife and art scene, with teaching roles at the University of Washington, Green River Community College and the University of Puget Sound.
I am currently on staff at the Photographic Center Northwest, the coordinator of the South Seattle Community College art gallery and co-curator of the independent artist duo, DameBuilder. Through my work as gallery coordinator and curator I have the pleasure to present multiple exhibits of local and national artists at art spaces and venues in throughout Seattle. My new collection of work is called The Suffrajetsetter’s Series and includes found materials, xerox transfer and embroidery. Oh, and one more thing….I live in and LOVE West Seattle!
